Turbo Center sections

Are the front and rear center sections the same?

The reason I ask is i have a set of turbos that i blew the primary turbo on. the secondary still feels really good. I got another set of turbos for the car and just have the set i blew laying around, But I am not all the sure the set i threw on are going to last that long...the front turbo has a bit of play.

So I was thinking if they are the same i would take the rear center out of the blown set and throw it in the primary turbo of the set that is on the car now when the time comes(lets hope it dosnt )

well it work, am I crazy? Should i just push 50psi threw it like it pops and just go single? lol.

Yes you can do that. However, unless you make sure the assemblies are balanced it's not likely to last all that long.

wouldnt it already be balanced? i am talking basically taking the comp cover and the hot side off and leaving the center and the wheels alone, then flipping them to the front.

If you're leaving each turbo/compressor subassembly intact you should have no issues. The only thing to watch is getting the assembly aligned at the snap ring joints.
