TTs(OEM or BNRs) and Two-step
TTs(OEM or BNRs) and Two-step
I know two-step tend to be abit.... abusive... on the exhaust turbine, but how bad is it really? And i know that the axles on the OEM twins arent the thickest of the lot, so how does the twins cope with two-step?
A thought that came to mind, and i wondered if anyone had any data here, so i know if its worth the coolness of setting it up or not. On a pluss note, have everyone within a 100 feet **** their pants and duck for cover is almost worth a set of twins by itself

You would need fast-responding EGT probes pre-turbo to get the data needed. More heat is going to stress the manifold as well. You have to figure the manifolds have been heat cycled a gazillion times over the years and will be more prone to cracking.
If you're gonna use it for drag racing, it worked good for me with my twins, and only use it for a second or two at the most, that's all that is needed. The two step with my crane hi-6dsr seemed to be better because it doesn't have that cool/possibly bad machine gun sound like msds.
cptpain, coolness is a biproduct
Im looking into it cause i want to drag the car at times too, i just want to make sure the twins can hold it and not go poo on me
thanks for answer, tom
