Is it true that the base has no brake duct on the side panel????

The holes that come out just behind the front wheels?

Those aren't brake ducts.

All models have those, even base.

Yeah, those are the oil cooler ducts...or tranny and oil cooler if you have an automatic. Just pop off the duct insert (it is easy, just tug) and marvel at the total functionality of the Mazda FD.
