Trouble removing power plant frame

While attempting to remove the ppf I noticed that the upper nut/bolts near the shifter are just spinning in place when they are loosened with the impact gun. I can barely get my fingers in the tight space above the frame(ppf) let alone a wrench to hold the head of the bolt. Any suggestions?????? Thanks.

There is a lock tab that should be up there, it will should be set around the heads of the bolts. If there isn't a lock tab, you can get one and fit it over the heads, and then you can remove the nuts like normal.

Worst case, you can leave the ppf attached to the tranny and drop the tranny and ppf as one unit. You may need to disassemble the e-brake cables to make enough space for the frame to come straight down.

yeah that lock tab **** is nasty , if its off you cant really get to the top of the bolt
its really tight up there , you could also try benging a wrench , think of it as a special tool

Tab is held on by a 6mm bolt ( 10mm wrench ) - remove that and the tab comes off. Then hold it with a box end.
