Trim Removal.

Hey all, i did a search but couylkdnt find anything conclusive. Im trying to remove the trim so i can install my guage pillar.. how do you remove it without breaking the clips?!?

There is a special tool you can buy that is supposed to be able to take those out without breaking them. Dont ask me where to get one though. It looks like the end of a crowbar (the part like a snake's tongue). Or you can be really careful with a flathead screwdriver.

wrap a #1 standard long screw driver with some electrical tape. They key is to pry from as close to the clips as possible.
