YT Transmission Swap

I'm really hating that this is going to be my first post but anyways I'm going to probably buy a FD tomorrow but the only thing holding me back is that its automatic. I figured it would be easy enough to swap the transmission but I'd like to know, before i make the purchase, if it is possible to swap the transmissions without much drama. I searched but didn't find anything about the 3rd gen. specifically.

Thanks

You are my new best friend. Thank you so much! If you don't mind me asking what did you put in the search box?

The best way to find information on common topics is to start with the FAQ thread:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

It will have most of the important links to get you started.
