Transmission Removal....
I searched and maybe I missed something but I can't seem to find a good link for the removal process of our transmission. I have all the braces off, all the bolts connecting it to the engine, and I have the starter and slave out. The rear end has swung down a little but won't seem to go back far enough to get the engine off the input shaft. Any walk throughs or tips on how I can do this? Thanks in advance.

You need to release the throwout bearing from the collar ring on the pressure plate. There is a video of how to release it somewhere, just search for it. Also, you need to remove the shift **** and boot surround, and unplug the 4 electrical connectors on the left side of the transmission.

Thats the reason I am removing the tranny. The throwout bearing isn't connected to the clutch sleeve/collar. I guess that metal c-clip was never put in during install. So that is not our problem. The throwout bearing is jsut sitting there not engaged and not on the clutch.
