Transmission rebuild- identify synchro help pls

So i am rebuilding the trans in my 93 FD. I purchased BK199ws from trans parts warehouse.
When i pulled the trans apart i see that i have multi piece synchros for 2nd and 3rd, wasn't this exclusive to the 94/95 trans?? I have the 93 factory workshop service manual and it is showing multi piece synchros for 2nd & 3rd. I've had to replace the 5th/reverse and 3rd/4th clutch hubs as well. So when i was getting these through my local dealership i had them look up the synchros for 3rd and it is only showing a single piece design (with the same part numbers) for 93-95, maybe its just the image they have on file?
With the rebuild kit that i've purchased all the synchro's fit with exception to 3rd. The OD is correct but the ID taper is the same size as 4th gear (which is smaller than 3rd). The kit didn't include the inner small synchro for 2nd or 3rd gear. I have also noticed that the OE synchros have the slots (on the taper itself) cut all the way through, whereas the aftermarket ones only have the slot go half way through the taper.. is this an issue?
I can add pictures if needed.
Any help would be appreciated. Most of what i have found (93 vs 94/95) is from the suppliers/ manufacturers of the rebuild kits. I'd like to get this sorted as its had the car down for a few months and i'm $1500 into parts as it is.

basically all of the FD transmissions are the same except there are different 5th gears depending on the market and wheel size

parts catalog doesn't need to show a 1 piece synchro vs 2 (or 3), as you can only buy the whole thing anyways.

if you read the find print of the kit you bought it doesn't say it fits the FD, and then they are wrong about the 93 and 94+ being different

Dang..$1500?
I’m feeling better about the $1200 I dropped a few years ago to have mine rebuilt with all new synchros and bearings.

Not related to your issue but IIRC there was a change from the early 93’s on the 5th gear synchro and shift select spindle...wasn’t there?

yes, but the only way to get the old style parts is to buy an aftermarket kit like that

Synchro was updated to a supposedly stronger material and the spindle was redesigned for more accurate shifts, preventing accidently hitting 5th on the 2nd to 3rd shift. As far as the aftermarket kit, I haven't use them. Most of the oem rebuild parts are still available (however much more expensive) except some of the hubs. Nachi are quality bearings but there are also many fakes out there.

It did say specifically 93 RX7, a number of sites do.. trans parts, cobra trans, trans parts distributors (transstar). They were all listing 94/95 different from the 93. Regardless i went and ordered 3rd synchro from the dealership (R504-17-26y).
2nd isn't available from the dealership from either of the part numbers.. Atkins references part # R505-17-26y, which at the dealership doesn't exist, but as far as i can tell that is a replacement for part R503-17-26y. The inner synchro of 2nd looks great anyway, so i may end up using the inner and a new outer ring. I'll be lapping all of the synchros anyway. It'll have all new bearings, clips, synchros, 3/4 clutch hub, 5/R clutch hub

its really common for the aftermarket to be wrong about stuff, in fact with these cars they are wrong more than they are right....

2rd gear synchro is R505-17-26Y, Mazda has plenty, the old part number is R503-17-26Y, and it supersedes forward.
