transmission rear seal part number

I am having trouble identifying which part number I need for the transmission rear seal. There are two different listings.

PS And while we are on the subject, does anyone have a part number list handy of common parts to replace while changing a clutch?

Here is what I have so far:
Front Cover(maybe)--N315-16-223
Rear Seal(here is the confusion)--05A0-17-335 or R501-17-335A
Release Bearing--N315-16-510

Thanks
Marshall

Don't replace the front cover unless it's gouged or something. I have the R501 number for the ext. hsg oil seal.

Add these items:
Clutch Release Fork, N315-16-520B, $75.30
Wedge Collar, N315-16-415, $29.52
Wire Ring, N315-16-416, $21.96

Bearing, Pilot, N326-11-D03, $7.20
Seal, Pilot Bearing, 1881-11-404A, $1.74
Seal, Oil (Clutch Hsg), H501-17-103, $3.00
Spindle, Select Lock, R501-17-476, $9.37

The ones in red are really worth having since they get damaged a lot.
The ones in blue are optional but considered a good idea. The pilot bearing and seal should be replaced if your tranny makes a little bearing noise with the clutch in, but is probably best left alone otherwise. The front oil seal isn't too hard to change, but I've never heard of them failing. The rear oil seal is def. worth changing since they sometimes leak. Do the spindle unless you have a late-94 or 95.

If you have a crunchy 5th synchro, now is the perfect time for that - you just need:
Synchro, 5th Gear, W501-17-725C, $21.66
Nut, Lock, Countershaft, M501-17-309, $9.18
5th/Rev Clutch Hub Sleeve, R501-17-723A (often needs replaced with the synchro due to grinding)

Unhappy Rear crank seal or Rear Transmission Seal??????

Hey guys,

I sent my fd for clutch & flywheel replacement, and the mechanic found out that the "Rear Crank seal" is damaged and needs to be replaced.

What he says that it's a seal connecting the Flywheel with the Shaft (or engine body). Is it the Rear Transmission Oil seal?

I couldn't find any results for rear crank seal, since Rotaries do not have Cranks.

Can anyone tell what it is? if possible with a pic or a part number too?

Many Thanks

He has to be talking about the rear engine oil seal.

I can't find the part number for it at the moment.

There is also a pilot bearing with it's own oil seal fitted into the end of the eccentric (crank) shaft. Probably not what you're looking for but worth mentioning and often worth replacing.

There're some photos, i really can't judge, i found many parts like that seal, also called "Rear Main Seal" at atkinsrotary.com ( http://atkinsrotary.com/store/produc...cat=674&page=1 )

I guess that's the right part "Rear Main Seal", Right?
