just a quick question, does a s5 turbo 2 transmission fit/work in an fd?

if so has any done it and is there any mods that you have to do to make it work?

i can get one perfect for 150 and i want something in place whiles i rebuild my tranny...

I'm no expert, but I own both these cars. S4 but same deal. direct swap is deffinitely a no. not sure about the bolt patern, but the slave cylinders are in completely different locations and I can't even imagine a way to make that work. not to mention the FD pressure plate is pull-type and FC is push.

KDR builds some trannys with FD tranny housings and T2 tranny internals. Whether they used stock bearings, shims, etc I have no idea.
