Exclamation please some help with greddy type s

i have a 1993 rx7 i bought from a fella a while back, he had already put a greddy type s bov on the ca,r there is one factory looking bov still on ,with a long tube leading to the front of the car, and the greddy one is connected to a short hose to im not sure what . but any way there is one vacuum line going from the intake manifold the right nipple that is, that is to the top nipple on the greddy type s. there is a smaller nipple on the bottom of the greddy bov that has nothing connected to it i have heard pleanty of type s bovs but mine is as queit as can be.... and it is being dumped into the bay so my question is why cant i hear a damm thing from it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!some help please

2 bov come on the car stock, ones a real bov which is connected to the y-pipe, the other has something to do with secondary turbo spooling im really not sure. I just put on an intake and vented my stock bov to the bay, which sounds great. From what I remember the real bov (what should be replaced by type s) has a vacuum line comming from a nipple on the uim. So if the greddy is hooked up to a short hose look down in there and see if you see its connected to the y-pipe, it should be pretty obvious what the y pipe is. If all that checks out its hooked up just like stock bov, which I assume is how it should be. Im not sure about the type s but alot of aftermarket bov have ajustments you can make and maybe thats the problem?
