transmission difference between S6 and S7

right now I'm doing the transmission swap auto to manual I've seen Transmissions and wanted to know if there was any difference between the transmission of fd Series 6 and Series 7?

Maybe, maybe not.

Not sure what ratios the Yankee FD's came with, but the JDM cars had two different fifth ratios. Depended whether the car was supplied with a 4.3:1 diff and 17" wheels or not.

Most JDM gearboxes have a .806 fifth gear, but cars like the RS, RZ and Spirit R had the .762 fifth gear (all other ratios were the same).
