transmission

so one told me that a 5-spd out of a turbo II could be used in a fd. is this true any help is greatly appreciated.

I also heard that rumor. It was confirmed when I was reading a magazine with a rotary powered mazda vehicle that had a 13B-REW with a TII trans in it.

I am sure it will bolt up to the engine since it is the same configuration, but I believe the mounting point and driveshaft configuration are different. Modifications might need made for this.
