Tranny Swap Help!!

Okay I want to do a tranny swap from auto to 5 spd. What's the best way to do it, and where will do it? Anyone know what it runs, and anyone got a good stock 7 tranny? Thanks, and for soem of the big power dragging guys, is it possible to get a 6spd in there, like a GETRAG box etc., or should I just stick to the bad synchros of the stock box, I'd prefer not to deal with any 5th gear problems. Thanks.

kdrotary in PA. can do a tranny swap, I'm planning on doing my car this fall. The cost is any where from $3000- 4000, but cheaper if you can find most of the parts yourself. what mods do you have on your car.

Here is the link to my tranny swap info:
Exit 13B Auto -> Manual Conversion Page
I will be updating this very soon, as I learned some new tricks on the last swap I did this weekend.

zayrx7:
Our shop is located south of Pittsburgh, PA -- just over an hour from Grove City.

I can do a swap in one weekend, my price is much, much lower, and all of your functions will work properly.
The total cost on my last swap was less than $2500 for all parts and labor -- but you have to be patient about shopping for parts, or the cost can be much more!
