tranny stuck to engine

I bought a long block with a tranny attached, and i am trying to pull the tranny off, and it gets about 4 inches then stops. it is a manual tranny.

the tranny is complettely unbolted from the engine, i just cant get it more than 4 inches away from the engine. The tranny is able to spin around, jerking and pulling seem to not help any.

I am working on it right now, quick replies or ideas would be appreciated

look in the bottom inspection hole and you will see a "ring" that holds the throw- out bearing in place. This needs to be seperated fromthe T/o bearing. take a screw driver and pry the collar and t/o bearing apart. This should solve your issue

Take a long screw driver and put it between the throw out bearing and the pressure plate, all it takes is spin the screw drivera half turn to get the T.O. bearing to seperate enough to seperate. anymore questions you can get me on aim (ijneb)
