I have a question for a friend that wants a 13b or 20b in his kit car, is there a fwd tranny that will bolt to it and how strong are they? i wouldnt imagine any fwd tranny holding up to 3 or 400 hp, but on the other hand the car only weighs 1,822 lbs.

Kit car with FWD? thats a new one. Change kits and go RWD

 

It might be for a transversly mounted RWD.

I would call G-force and see if their FWD aftermarket trannys have been mated to a 13B. I'm pretty sure they have done a few projects like that.
