Trailers for FD (pictures)
Trailers for FD (pictures)
I did a search and came up empty on trailers... What kind of trailers does everyone perfer in towing their FD's? Open or Enclosed? If anyone recommends a company to purchase, keep me posted. Also...if you can post pics...
the uhaul car trailors that they rent out are quite good for towing them. granted, an enclosed trailor will always be better for any vehicle you want to keep in perfect condition. But then again, the added weight puts more strain on the vehicle that is doing the towing.

I also recommend the uhaul auto transport trailer. Think they are like $40/day or like $90 one way, well atleast that was the price when I used one a year ago.
Putting a lowered car on them can be a hassle. When offloading my car I had to back the trailer up to the curb in my front yard, lower the ramps into my yard, put some extra boards on the ramps to extend/ease the slope, and jack up the front of the trailer to get the car off without scraping.
