Hi all-

My car boosts fine, but idles poorly and accelerates very badly until I hit boost. The engine hesitates and stutters badly up to around 4k rpm if I'm not boosting. Anything but 3/4 throttle or more and the car runs like ****.

The exhaust smells of gas. Occasionally I get some black smoke at idle.

All vaccuum lines have been checked. The MAP sensor seems connected properly. No codes are being thrown.

The only changes I've made recently are cleaning my injectors and adding an aftermarket fuel pump. I put in the Nippondenso sold on RX7store.net.

Could it be that the fuel pump is forcing too much fuel? Are there any other obvious things I should check?
