you can check it from the ecu. i found it a bit faster to back probe the ecu terminals. and a 1/4 inch closed box wrench with a philips screw driver insert taped on it is a perfect tool to get the bottom phillips loosened

I have a power FC and no commander, I keep reading about some plug on the engine that has 3 female spade orifices two parallel to one another and one perpedicular. You use two lights with one of each of their leads joined together so that there are a total of 3 male spades you plug in. Then mess with the TPS until you light them up in a certain way.
I made a tool, and have the instructions, just can't find where to plug it in. HELP!
BTW: I know I can just use a multimeter and a safety pin to check the voltages but this new way seemed easier.

Sorry if you cant read the stuff in red. I'm also sorry abotu the pic. I told my firend to take it cause I was too lazy to go downstairs lol. The TPS sensor is on the right side of your throttle body. It's a 4 wire connector with the wires in a column. u might wanna remove the hose that connects to the elbow, or even take out th elbow, and disc. the map sensor and bracket and move it aside a little. MAKE sure when you are done with everything that the hose connecting to the map sensor is intact. Your car will run like crap when you start it up, if it even stays alive for more than a few seconds lol.the map sensor is the black box in the upper right hand corner of the pic.

thanks but I know where to test the voltages. I'm talking about where there are female spade connectors to plug the light tester into. The directions say it is beside the passenger side shock tower.

Yeah, that got confused on Steve's site. On the FC, you use test lights to set the TPS. You can't do it on the FD - you have to probe the voltage coming from the TPS to set it.

Well now I have a neat little 12volt light show I can play with.
BTW: Why is it that that site hasn't been updated in a long time? There is so much useful knowledge on that site, but it needs an updating, a lot of the links are dead.
