Towing: Where To Hook Up?
I know you're not supposed to put a tow hook on either of the tie down loops under the front of the car because it can damage the front bumper. But if I want to put my car on a flat bed tow truck, where is a good place to put a tow hook? I'd be reluctant to use one of the lower A-arms.
Does anybody have experience with this and a good suggestion?

When I had mine towed to the mechanics they used those tie down hooks and it didn't cause any damage at all. I was paranoid at first too but the car movies up the ramp easy enough so it's all good.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'll have to look for a spot that looks good. I don't need a tow, it's just something that occurred to me and the time to think about it is before you need one, not some dark knight when a tow operator just wants to get the job done and causes some expensive damage.
