Touring/PEP sunroof issues

Has anybody else with a sunroof noticed that sometimes you need to "help" it get started? Mine seems constantly stuck in place once I close it all the way and requires a little push up before it will go up and back.

Am I alone in this?

happened to me a while back.

i used the WD40 application pen to dribble a bit on the cables, then open and closed a few times put some grease to keep the cables lubed and bam, no more having to push up on the sunroof.

mine made a noise like if the motor slipping before the fix.

Good idea! I'll look into it.

Mine has been doing it since I bought it back in late 2006. I just never thought to comment on it until now, lol.

mine's always been like that, shrugs, oh well, it doesn't bother me that much to give it a nudge in the right direction
