torque brace - air pump mount

I recently saw a picture of a torque brace mounted on the air pump mounting hole. Now I cannot find the picture anywhere, and wanted to see where exactly this was mounted, on both sides. Does anyone have a pic of this, or can you point me to the thread that it was in.

Also has anyone fabricated their own torque brace and can give some advice on what parts to get and where I can find them. I will take a trip to home depot soon, and see I can make my own kit for my FD. I would like to make one similar to the rx7store/garfinkle kit with rubber bushings to prevent vibration. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I beleive that was someones custom kit (don't remember who though). There is a bar that you can get from jt-imports that connects from the oem swaybar end to the alternator mount, if you are looking for different.

how does less than $4 sound? i recently made my own using home depot parts and doesn't look that cheap either. i connected it to the passenger side bolt in the strut bar that connects the bar to the mount. i used a 3/8" x 10-1/2" turnbuckle, eye to eye. i got a longer m10 bolt to replace the one on the strut bar and re-used the air pump mounting bolt. i filled in the eye hooks with various fuel/vacuum tubing to take up slack and for some sort of vibration dampening. so far it's been working pretty good and hasn't given me much wheel hop, but i also have bad shocks and need some bushings. made shifting a helluva lot easier
