just reading old post. Sorry, yes in the car industry 'A' for projected area. In my industry, (offshore) we reference to a diameter 'D' of unit length .. either way projected frontal area.

I did 170 coming across I90 floating bridge on the express lanes (Car Pool Lanes). Rolled on 140 coming out of the tunnel and hit a170 towards the end of the bridge. Stock R1 aerodynamics and it felt very stable. This was at 1:00am in the morning and no one was on the bridge.

Thats where I did my top speed run as well, great place for that.
I hit 165mph indicated. I can only guess how fast that would actually be after reading through this thread

damn, cant remember if i posted in this thread

i know i hit like 135mph in 4th on the garden state speedway..errr i mean garden state parkway on one morning going to a car show.. i was gonna hit 5th to go more but i was with my friend, i didnt want him to die, or me and i was scared of cops.. even though my V1 didnt go off..

but i wanna make another attempt (ricer statement) to hit top speed, maybe in spring on I78 towards PA..all i gotta do is pick a good sunday morning, maybe even on a holiday and just go for it..
