Alright, you guys are just a bunch of bastards! I dig all those rides, and I dig that you're in SD. I want to move there so bad, but need to find a job there in order to do so. Sweet pics

I love seeing cars being pushed like they were made to be pushed!! Great slide pics... And as for the first 3 cars.... Wow. I'll agree with whoever said people take off when you guys roll in. Prolly the 3 most intimidating cars on the road... Well, minus the Modena!!

Jim Swantko: very very very nice supra. how many psi are you running on it now? IIRC, it was some ungodly amount

artguy, yeah the seven has the looks contest cornered, but those R34s, man... I personally love the way they look, so aggressive, without being too extreme. Supra trails behind the two in looks, IMO...

is the hood on the skyline carbon fiber/fiberglass?? the V-specII had carbon fiber hood with a scoop on it. Not sure about the Nur-edition....

Jim Swantko, how do you go powersliding in the parking lot without getting **** from the cops?? I've been cuffed once and got many lectures by the cops already....once, they actually said "tks for not taking it on the public roads though..." hahahha

Thanks guys.

As for the boost... I'm usually running 19-20 psi on pump gas. Somewhere around 520-530 RWHP. 2 Bar is only a tankful of race fuel away!

The Cisco parking lot that I did the sliding on is deep in a huge Cisco campus )Research Triangle Park). There are about 15 buildings and they all have giant parking lots which are hidden from the road.

My old RX-7 did 425 RWHP @ 15 psi.

Thanks. When it was running right it was a blast... but too damn finicky for me. Honestly I don't miss it.

The sticky, wide tires and suspension I have under the Supra makes damn near as much fun as the 7 was. Add 500+ RWHP and it makes for some VERY entertaining driving.

a note about toyota reliability

i had a supercharged mr2 (first gen) back when i got done with high school....I put well over a 100k on it and drove it like a bat out of hell. I went through sets of tires almost monthly on the rear....never let off the gas

in four years I had a total of 130000 miles on it...the only thing that ever went out was the clutch...which was my fault when i slid it into the ditch during a snowy day and had to burn the clutch to get it out.

that car was bullet proof for me. I am a toyota believer after that.....**** one day of driving my seven like i used to drive that mr2 and Id be out ten grand.

maybe i got a lucky one...regardless it was a very reliable and fun car at the time.

Toyota's aren't as "bulletproof" as everyone makes them out to be, the same can be said that RX-7 are not as unreliable as every one would have you believe as well.
