Took the FD up the parkway...
Well, the weather today was amazing and after my family's giant brunswick stew party last night, the perfect thing to do today was to go for a nice long drive. So I got in the car, gased it up and headed towards the parkway. The road is a lot of fun to drive and there are some great overlook areas. I went on a good long stretch of road here in Bedford County, VA up in the Blue Ridge mountains. It is basically the Peaks of Otter, for any of you out there who are familiar with the area. I snapped a few pictures and thought some of you all might like to check them out. I only bought this car a few weeks ago. I have had my FC for a right good while now, and it has been designated the "track" car, so the FD is the "fair-weather car", or what have you.
I enjoyed reading another thread about a nice trip in the 7, so I figured I would share mine as well. My digital camera is nothing special, its only 2.0 megapixels, but it gets the job done.
Enjoy

Very nice. I live in Durham, NC and love taking trips up to the parkway out by Boone. Went to college at ASU for a couple of years and loved every minute of it. I was just up there this weekend, too. You're lucky to live so close. Beautiful up there.
I was wondering what kind of front lip you have on there? It looks really good, but i dont recall ever seeing it before. I just got the R1 lip and it looks really nice, but that one really appeals to me.
Thanks for the pics!

Forest is a little west of Lynchburg.
Jake man, you have to get your FD down here for a cruise before winter kicks in full gear. It already snowed today.
