Took the car out of hibernation...
The RX-7 has been sitting under the car cover for a LONG time as the apex seals are slightly warped. (Year and a half or so?)
The connection on the fuel metering pump was not good... I found it and fixed it after the seals warped on a brand new rebuild.
So around dusk it was 70 degrees and I decided to start up the car and take it out for a spin. Started right up after I primed the engine with oil. The car ran like a top and even started idling correctly. The compression is coming back. It has ~13 at idle but idle is around 1050/1100, little low but it use to not idle at all. Maybe tommorow if it's nice I'll do a compression check. I hope it still sucks because I am getting ready to pull it and put in better seals.
Three people tried to race me, I got a thumbs up and some chicks stalking me in a 3 series bemmer.
Anyhow, I forgot how much fun the car can be.
