is this too much $$ for a `93
hi again,
my buddy paid $16K for a `93 touring pkg. with about 40k miles on it (original engine)... does that sound right?
i'm a 2nd gen guy so i don't really know what the fd's are going for... why he's asking this stuff *after* buying it is beyond me... but what r friends for
from what i can tell the car looks ok... the black leather bolster on the driver's side is worn from the driver getting in/out. needs new tires, probably a tune-up, his shop said that a rear diff. seal is leaking/needs replacing... and the turbo hose 'expansion' that i mentioned in this post:

the car seems to pull pretty well (haven't felt it with the throttle wide open, tho)... about the same as a `94 fd that i rode in a while back.

It is a fair price.. although a bit risky unless your fiends did a good check into the car.. As in checked for exhaust gasses in the radiator, Pressure tested the cooling system, and a compression test..
