Too good to be true? I think its a scam

If this is the wrong place to put this please move it. Im posting for those who get excited and don't think before they buy. If this isn't a scam let me know LOL.

I was searching through autotrader and found a 93 for $4000 that has 29500 miles on it! From the pics the car looks great, so I write the guy an email.

Here is his reply:
Hi,
I am glad to hear that you are interested to buy my Mazda The car is in perfect conditions without any scratches or other mechanical problems.The interior is in like new condition and has never been smoked in.The car is registered in United States and it has clear title.I live in United Kingdom so the car will be shipped from here.I can't register the car in UK because it has US emissions and that's one of the reasons i sell it so cheap,because i can't find a buyer in my country.Because i wanna deal as soon as possible i am ready to cover the shipping costs and insurance.
The financial part of this deal will be managed by my Square Trade agent. I am very busy, and
they will act like a third part in this deal. They will keep the payment until you receive the item and test it.
Anyway, I have to let you know that I want a fast deal so if you are really interested in buying, please reply with the following information:
-Your full name;
-Your shipping address;
The final price is $ 4000 included the shipping costs.
Click here for more photos:http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrow...der_id=1492205
If you agree with my above terms, I'm sure that we can close the deal as soon as possible.
Thank you for your time and interest!!!

To me there is a lot of red flags on this car. Here is link to the autrader ad:

I believe that it's a scam. Emissions problems yeah right. If it was true he could just swap emission components that are up to code with the UK.

no wonder it does not pass UK emissions it's a four cylinder

Taken from the description that the owner wrote in the ad:

"ENGINE Cylinders-4 Horsepower-255 6500 Torque-217 5000 ...."

Autotrader and other auto sales sites list rotary engines incorrectly as 4 cylinder or even 2 cylinder engines all the time.

The response from the seller feels like one of those bullshit scam emails that you get from some supposed nigerian prince on his deathbed who wants to leave you $20 million because he does not trust anyone in his family with it or theres is no one left in his family etc. But noooo a perfect stranger over the internet is fine... And all you have to email them is your bank account info and you get $20 Million!!!

Be very careful, I'd deffinatley call that texas number. Block caller ID *67

That guy and I are on a first name basis. He's tried to sell me a Supra, an RX-7, and a few other cars, all while he's in the UK. He tried pulling a fast one, telling me he lives in NY, but when he found out I'm on the East Coast, he was like yea but the car is currently in Texas. I was like PERFECT, I'm on my way to Texas this weekend!! Needless to say, he never replied back

When you talk to him, tell him I say hi, and I miss him haha

Do the Nigerian scam on the scammer..

Tell the guy you LOVE the car and want it desperately.

Tell him youll send him a check for DOUBLE the Amount he is asking for, but
you'll put it in an escrow account. Then he has to send the the diffence on the
asking amount and the check you put in escrow.. And when his check clears
you'll release the money in escrow for him to sell the car..

Should be a hoot...
