Why would you even be interested in a car if you didn't think it could drive 250 miles???

Read the fricking FAQ please!

you aren't going to overheat just because the weather is that hot as long as you don't drive it like a fool, or there is already something wrong with the car.

If you can afford an FD that's worth it, roadsterdoc has a cherry '94 for sale. Don't even have to drive 250 miles either.

250 miles is nothing....for a good example of an fd that is.
i drove >1000 mile home with my first one. Just plan ahead, check it out as best you can, and enjoy the ride

I just bought my second FD. I flew down to Houston TX, and drove it back to South Carolina. One of the greatest drives I have ever experienced.

I flew into Memphis yesterday and drove the FD that I just bought home, 900+ miles back to Hampton, Va. Awesome drive!!! Except for the fact I had to refuel whenever the gas guage read half full(to be sure I had enough gas to find gas). At least half the gas stations I went to on the way home had NO gas.

I was going to fly to Richardson Texas and drive to Charleston but the cost of buying a one-way plane ticket for the next day was insane and not worth the added cost of putting the car on a truck.

As long as everything is working fine youll be good, dont worry about the car overheating, idk why people think it will over heat so easy..especally if your on the freeway(and avoid traffic).

How much is the asking price. That should be a good indicator on whether the car will make the 250 mile trip back.

DITTO.
I flew down from Seattle to Reno and drove it home. The drive home was a "bonding" of man to machine. One owner, 19,000 original miles, garaged 100%, completely oem stock, all paperwork and records.

Check your potential car out in Carfax.com. Will be a well spent $20.00.
