Smile TO4R on stock motor

I am planning to get an HKS TO4R single for my car. Already have power fc, Greddy SMIC, full exhaust system, twin power, blitz dual sbc, vented hood, bosch pump. Mileage is around 4k kms.Planning to run 1.1-1.2 bar on the TO4R. Hoping to get 450hp at the flywheel. Will the engine be strong enough to hold itself at this boost pressures assuming good tuning of course. Will it also make good power w/o any porting? Also, what size injectors will i need? Any advice from experienced owners will be appreciated. Thank's guys.

450 at the flywheel?...I'd almost guarantee 1.2 bar will get you more than that.

Why the Blitz D-SBC?...You can buy the boost solenoid(same as the AVC-R) for $150 and it will control boost the same.

As long as you have good tuning I think the motor should have no problem holding up to that. You should have around 450rwhp not flywheel hp. I would go with 1300cc because I think the power fc has trouble with the 1600cc. High impotence compared to low. You might want to look into haltech systems.

I've seen 411rwhp on a TO4S on a stock motor...with good tuning it is possible to hit more than that with the TO4R but I wouldn't reccomend it if you are daily driving the car.

There are not problems with the PFC and 1600cc INJ's that a pair of resistors won't solve. Supposedly KDR has a way to configure the PFC w/out having to use resistors with the 1600cc's but I haven't personally spoken to him about it yet.

Actually I couldnt see you getting 450hp for more then a few weeks, before BOOM! 400hp would be more to your liking im sure. T04R is cool, but you need air to run that big boy, and on a stock motor.. NO AIR, NO HP..

JUST MY 2 CENTS...

Thank's alot guys. Maybe I'll save more to get a new motor as well rather than risk my std motor.
