Tires, Wheels, Fitment, HELP!
Just got some 18X9 +37, and 18X10 +43.
Please someone help me with tire choices. I tried to search the topic, but I'm pretty new to the post and I can't find anyone with those sizes and offsets. Thanks in advance.

Are are lowerd? or stock setup? What kinda wheels are these? I had 18x9 with a 37 offset and it rolled my fenders out looked really nasty but volk admited to the mistake and sent me 18x8 with the correct offset, I'm not saying that you have the wrong offset but its going to be close to the top of the fender, I personally would go with 245/35/18 up front and maybe 275/35/18 in the rear most people will say you need 40 up front and 35 in rear with that staggered setup but it won't look bad, do a search and look at LOI car with volk GT-N's I have the same setup as him but he has coilovers, our rims have the same offsets as yours but we have 18x8 I had the 37 offset with the 18x9 but those are the ones the pull the fender out. Don't forget to post a link to this thread in the wheels section since SleepR1 and Rishie are in there more, and they should be able to answer this question with no probelm since they usally do on a daily basis hehe

Those would probably work. I've heard that a 40-50mm offset is good. As far as tires I am running 275/35R18 out back and 245/40R18 up front. They are Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions. I would recomend having your front fender lips rolled up. I had some rubbing issues when I went over large bumps until I got it done.

you will probably have problems with rubbing
18x9 should be +45 offset
18x10 should be +50 offset
you will need aftermarket coil-overs to run 18x10s
best tire sizes with those rim widths with the proper offset would be:
245/35 or 255/35 front, 285/30 rear
275/35 is almost an inch taller than stock and will increase your chances of rubbing, it will also raise your final drive ratio and make your speedo inaccurate

Hey r71, those are the wrong offset for GT-N's on a FD with the size being 18x9 if they are GT-N's I mean you might be able to get them to work, but I didn't, 18x8 for the FD has a offset of 37, 18x9 should be higher, do a search on my name and you'll find all the probelms I had, there is a guy name Eddie that my shop deals with from mackin and he was on vaction when I ordeded the rims so a guy there thought the 18x9 with a 37 offset would work fine, but it didn't and volk admited to it being their fault, look at the volk fitting chart for the FD with GT-N's the 37 offset is only in 18x8, I believe the 18x9 with a 37 offset is for a Supra. If you already have the rims, then I would recomend a very low profile tire so you don't rub like nothimg higher than 245/35/18 and 225 is too small for a 18x9 and 235/40/18 is too tall.
Also the 18x10 is fine for the rear, I have 275/35/18 and never had a problem there, even with H&R springs
Hey SleepR1 aren't you proud of me
