Tips from people for removing steering rack

Hey Team,

I want to save the labor that Pettit wants and change out my steering rack myself.

The lines look easy enough, the tierods are simple, but what about the steering shaft? Do I need a special tool to pull the box off the shaft?
It looks to all be able to be done with simple hand tools. Does the subframe or any other structural components need to be moved out of the way.

Experienced rebuilders please advise.

Thanks,

Raj

no special tool..
just unbolt the knurled section of the shaft..
she can be removed with the subframe untouched...
