Tips for long-term (2+) years storage of FD
I may have to leave the country for a while. Really don't want to sell my '93. Has anyone stored these cars for 2+ years? Any tips?

id look on http://www.hemmings.com/ im sure they have something with all of the old cars on there, but when i worked at a local shop another mechanic bought an old jag e type which had been stored really well, i remember a rew things, one most people think to drain the gas tank, but you should leave it as full as you can get it so moisture can not build up, and on the crome trim(not that a FD has any, but it may apply to teh rubber also) there was vasoline, i cant think of anything else, but id look at hemmings

If you leave gas in your tank, add some Sta-Bil (sp?) to it so it does not go bad! If you want to protect the finish w/o using a cover, apply a large amount of wax to the body but don't buff it off. Ideally, I think it would be best for the car of you had somebody take it out for a spin every couple of weeks. When I put my 'Cuda into storage in the winter I always fog the engine with some good fogging oil, but that is a piston engine and it might not be good for a rotary engine. Does anyone here fog their engines?
