Arrow Anyone run their stock FD in the Quarter???

Just wondering if anyone was lucky enough to get their FD to the track in stock form and what your times and traps looked like. I'm hoping to get to a track while my car is stock but I doubt that will happen. I know the mags tested them in the high 13s but I'm wondering how accurate that is.

I have.13.7 and I can't remember the speed. The only way you'll do a 13.7 is if you wanna be on a first name basis with your mechanic.I fried the clutch on the second try, then got a new one,did it again and got it.I don't think I ever got a better rush of running it through the gears.

I ran a 13.8 @ 100mph with just a K&N drop in. I also ran a 15.6 when I accidently shifted from 2nd to 5th. Thats still fast enough to beat most ricers.

LOL, very, very true.

Both of your times are impressive. I am praying yet highly doubtful that I will even break into the 13s as my secondary turbo is not in tip top shape right now.

I ran a 14.0 @99mph a few times. It was a muggy and sticky night. I think if it was cooler, i would have ran 13.8's consistently.

On a spring Oregon day, i ran a 13.6@101.96. Bone stock. Not even a k&n. With a down pipe i ran a 13.4@103.5, then i put on a Racing Beat air duct and ran a 13.3@106...but i was getting spikes upto 14psi. The car dyno'd 234rwhp(?) With the downpipe, and intake.

I've heard of a stock FD that ran a 13.3xx@103, a couple years ago...but i don't know if it was true or not. Cj

13.9 @102 Ran twice stock with horrible wheel hop 2.6 60 foot time.
Thought I would break something so much hop
After those two runs I got a launch kit and every bolt on you can think of. Now at 12.3 116
BTW I gained 1mph by removing spoiler

Cool @ Milan

I ran a 13.7 @ 95 mph last fall at Milan Dragway up here in MI. This is on a 100% stock '95 base w/55k miles on the odometer (no K&N filter either, hehe). Also my first time drag racing.

btw, that time was with a 10-5-7 boost pattern.

My first run was crap....ran a 14.6--your launch makes all the diff in the world. I think i had a ton of wheel hop that time....

I just put on a downpipe and got new plug wires this last weekend (which fixed my boost problem...back to 10-8-10 now), so we'll see what happens when the dragway reopens
