That time of year again - What are you guys using for car covers?

Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been asked and answered a hundred times over, I didn't really find what I was looking for with search.

I'm relatively new to the FD, and I'm really surprised that Mazda never made a car cover for it (Nissan made one for the Z32, as did Toyota, etc)

I don't want a generic 'Sports Car!!!1!1!@@@' car cover from Autozone, So who's the go-to for car covers made specifically for the FD?

OEM covers are crap. You might as well cover your car with paper towels.

Covercraft and Coverking. THey have a huge selection of different custom (RX-7) covers that vary in fabrics depending on your environment. It can range from $100-$300+

I am using a Covercraft Noah since I don't have a garage.

My car cover is a private garage
I can't imagine letting it sit outside in the snow to rot

I've got a California Car Cover for when I have to keep my FD outside overnight and it is really really good.

Thanks guys - it'll be garaged for the winter, but seeing as I detail cars on the side and have a major case of OCD, I like to keep them covered even when garage kept.

Weather Shield's, Weather X. Custom fit and pretty much the best available. I had one for my 52k mile mint S5.

Then grab something light. The Covercraft block-it 380 series (or equivalent) should be more than enough for indoors. As a detailer, you should already know that the cover can only be put on a completely spotless car to prevent marring lol.

I have the bubble i mentioned above. Cats couldn't even get it to even touch the car. I tossed a hammer on it and it just sat on top. Its pretty awesome.

Order placed - went with the Dustop as the car is stored indoors only and needs the extra protection from the furry one with four legs.

Thanks guys

Cheers
