Question time to rebuild

I tried searching the databases, but could not find the answers to most of my questions. First of all, I am already planning on replacing all seals (compression and otherwise) with new ones. I am ordering the compression seals from hurley and will be using stock mazda for the o-rings and engine gaskets. My engine is original and has 91,000 miles on it. My questions are as follows:

Should I reuse the old aluminum housings if they are within specs or just bite the bullet and get new ones from the dealer (I get a pretty good discount)? I have heard that Mazda used a nitride-based lubricating coating on the housings from the factory. If I reuse the old ones, I am afraid that I might have to rebuild soon again due to wear. Can I use a Swain lubricating coating on the housings? The intermediate and end housings will have to be lapped too, wearing away this coating. Any experience with Swain?

I have always heard that old bearings are almost always better than new when rebuilding engines unless they are excessively worn. Is this true?

Where should I go for a good porting job? I have stock twins configured for non sequential. Anyone know anything about the porting job they were supposed to do in Sport Compact Car?

Finally, does anyone know if cryo treating the engine internals is worthwhile? I have looked all over for answers to this but have only found one guy who cryo treated the rotors on his 12A with moderate results.

If you can answer any or all of these questions, that would be really clutch. Also, any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this big assed post.

Let's see:
If the housing in well within the specs, reuse them. The main housing damage comes from overheating (warping) and scratching (broken apex). If properly maintained, the old housing would pose no problems. Don't know anything about Swain.
If the bearings are properly sealed and remain tight, there is no reaon not to reuse them. Bearings, like all other contacting moving parts, does have a short break in period (for surface mating), depending on the manufacturing tolerances. I have not heard of old bearings being better than new other than what I've stated.
You can purchase porting templates from Mazdatrix or Mazdaspeed and do it your self.
Cryo treatment realigns molecular bonds and makes the material harder at the expense of decreased flexibility. The only reason for cryo treating things like the rotor and the e-shaft is if you plan on blasting you engine at 10krpm and you don't want any flex to occur. There wouldn't be any added benefit for normal conditions. You're better off ceramic coating the turbos and the dp.
Hope this helps.
