I posted this in tech support but didnt get anything figured out yet. The battery is fine and i have power all the way to the ignition but it wont turn over at all. No cranking what so ever. Doesn anyone know which relay controls the ignition or have any idea what might be going on? The battery has been disconnected/connected quite a few times in the last week but i dont think that would have anything to do with it. I am suppose to pick it up today after it was painted but now it just sits cause it wont start
I think he tested the starter to see if it works and i dont think that is the problem either. They were talking about different relays but none of us are mazda mechanics so we dont know which one is which and even if we did i dont think we would know what to do
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the starter won't even turn over, check the voltage at the starter terminals first. If there is voltage, then your starter is bad.
If the starter turns, then it's either your ignition system or fuel delivery. To check ignition, take out a plug leave it connected and touch the thread to any grounding point and crank to see if there is spark. If there is spark, the only thing left will be your fuel delivery.

Ah I ran into the very same problem a couple of weeks ago and I was my usual very over overly analytic self and couldn't find out the problem. The battery was fine and everything else checked out OK. It just so happened that my clutch switch went bad and without it would not start. You know the one that tells the computer if the clutch is depressed in order to start the engine. What a simple solution to what was seemingly a complecated problem. I just sprayed some WD-40 on mine and it must have cleaned out some of the contact points and bang it fired right up.
This might not help if you don't have a manual but it is just a simple thing to check before you go overboard analyzing the problem. I hope this has been a help.
