hey guys, recently i started noticing a ticking sound, but i only hear it on deacceleration, also if i rev in neutral i hear it when the motor is coming down, i popped the hood and it sounds like its coming from the downpipe area maybe the turbo's is there anything that could be wrong with them that would cause them to make that sound only on deacceleration?, also i started having trouble holding boost past 5500rpm, ill get full boost(12pounds) by 3300 but by the time i redline the boost will be at around 6-7pounds, it almost feels as if i have a clogged cat, but that isn't the case because i have no cats on my car, all opinions are welcome, i just want to see what you guys think it may be before i starting un-bolting the downpipe etc, my mods are in the sig

Sounds like detonation.

 

Detonation on deacceleration, doubtful. Ticking is kind of a generic word though, ticking like something is clanking together or ticking like somehing internal, how many miles are on your turbos, maybe they''re getting old

 

its a ticking like something is clanking together, or a rattling almost.
