TSB 011/97.

F285-13-363 - Rubber Mounting - about $11 (a "stud") - this is the only part you have to order from Mazda
9994-00-600 - Flange Nut - about $2 - yes, for a single brass 10mm nut! A good place to save $2, if you don't mind a trip to the hardware store, or rummaging through that big bin of spare hardware you have.
I was completely unaware of this part and it has fixed my "ticking" noise that I hear in the winter for the first minute or so when starting the car! Thanks!

You can get the stud from Mazda Motorsports for less than $5.

Well the TICKING and GRINDING noise when at idle, and when I take foot off gas, is now HISTORY! That TSB worked, all it took was a flange nut and rubber mounting where the brake hose attaches to the firewall on the drivers side. It was VERY loud inside my cabin, I cannot believe that a little rubber mount completely got rid of it. It was unbelievable annoying.

So for those that still have this noise, do the TSB on your FD, you wont be dissapointed.
