Running a fuel-cut defenser is a TERRIBLE idea on an FD. People modifying FDs knew this several years ago, I can't believe that they would still make these or that anyone would still buy them. You need to learn more about your car, man.

Sell the FCD and pick up a used Pettit/M2 ecu, if you are looking for more power on the cheap. Or use a very cheap manual boost controller to hold things at 10 psi until you can afford a REAL solution.

All I asked was what number it needs to be set at. I have a blitz SBC dual-valve boost controler and also apexi power fc computer system to go with. I also correspond with Night sports in Japan (where I'm from) by email and asked them about the use of FCD on a stock ECU and typical mods like air intake and exhause system. They say that even with the stock ECU you can use FCD up to 0.8 bar of boost and that FCD is to be used with PFC and still works fine. I would like to think I know what I am doing and I am not looking for more power on the cheap either for I understand that durability is more important in FD tuning.

But I bet you know a lot more than the president of Night Sports Mr. Nakamura I guess??

I guess I do, because there is ZERO reason to run an FCD with an Apexi PFC. Period. The modern way to tune FDs is with a standalone ECU like the Apexi PFC, that don't require a lot of hack mods working together.
