Throttle Lock up????

So i was taking a left turn from a stop and as i took the turn my fd started tailing, so i lightly pressed the brakes as i noticed the rpms are reving up to redlining and im sudenly spining back and forth uncontrolably as i smash the car into the curb. Now i did not have my foot on the gas but the car was reving at redline and i had no control. Any idea what could have possibly happend, or has this occured with anyone else. to make the story even better, yes there was a cop right behind me, but let me off on a warning becuase shes saw my brake lights on the whole time and saw how shookin up i was.

Check your throttle cable linkage. Make sure its not hung up on something or that it doesn't need to be replaced.
