Throttle Body Not Closing Fast Enough?

I would search for this, but I am not sure what to search for.

Basically in between shifts the RPM's are not dropping low enough and so when I go to the next gear I don't get any boost unless I clutch it and wait until it drops below 3500 or so RPM's. Is there an adjustment that needs to be made on the TB? Any one else have this problem or if anyone knows of some threads that have addressed this would you let me know how you found them or link them?

Thanks Gang,
Kyle

not your throttle body i don't think - think it is your vaccum chamber (from memory).

Could you explain a bit in detail as to why the Vacuum chamber would make the RPM's drop slow, I even have a lw flywheel.

It's not so much that your rpms are dropping slowly, it's that you're not getting boost when shifting into the next gear. Having to let off the throttle to get boost back is a common sign of a leaking check valve to the vacuum chamber. The vacuum chamber controls many of the solenoids that deal with your turbo system, and it allows them to function when the intake tract goes from vacuum to pressurized.

Check this link in the "vacuum chamber" section for further info:
