three turns a start
Its begun taking more and more turns to start the FD- usually 3 is the magic number. ITs on the original starter- do you think its that, a loose ignition, or what?
Is it cranking slower, or just taking longer for the engine to catch when you crank it? If it's cranking slower, that's either the battery or the starter. If it's just taking longer for the engine to catch, start with a fresh set of spark plugs.

I have that problem too. Brand new starter and great battery.
It's either 1 of 2 things... I think.
1. Starter selenoid is going/sticking
2. Grounding of starter needs to be improved
Anything else it might be anyone?

check voltage going to the s terminal on the starter when someone turns the key to start. check voltage going into and out of the clutch switch. also you can put a volt meter in the dc range with one terminal on the starter case and the other on the neg terminal of the battery to check if the ground path is good. reading should be about 0v
