Thumbs up thread from an STi forum: owners giving the FD props

Always nice to see that the FD is well thought of on other car forums.

We write everything we say about other cars so it's actually called libel, not slander.

yes but we also "slander" them when we get tired of typing

people have lots of respect for FD's from what i've seen they just dont have anything nice to say about the rotary part of it

the sti is a better car

as a former owner of an sti i can say that i felt bulletproof in that vehicle. now, as a fd owner i like the style and rear wheel fun. but unless you drive a vehicle dont say that yours is superior.

I noticed that as well. The previous owner was probably making so much power with the engine bay air intake, coffee can, "race" tach w/ shift light, and momo steering wheel that he has to tone it back a bit.

Is that an aftermarket rearview mirror?

He's on Camp Butler i think judging by those pics :o I almost joined so I could ask him.

Cars are SUPER cheap over there. I was stationed on Okinawa in 96 and you could get a very nice car for around $3K US

With open exhaust, the STI sounds sweet. One of the better sounding exhaust notes that I've heard. Real deep and throaty.
