$7500 for a roller with 75K miles is better than $14K for a car that you think is perfect and then blows the motor the next week. At least with this you know you know you will have to invest some bucks. Now just decide if you like the shell. I personally don't think much of the front end styling but it does provide very adequate room for a BIG intercooler and intake system, if you're so inclined.

It sounds like a project car
Don't forget, you will be easily pumping another $3k+ for a new engine plus any other mods you may have want done to it. 3rd gen bodys generally go for this much and even around $10k depending on the condition of the body.

sounds liek a good deal. Buy it up, dump an extra 3-4k into it and you'll haave a good running FD far about 12k.

Veliside, eww.

Anyway though, I think that it will cost you more like $5,000 to $6,000 to get teh car going, because $3,000 covers an engine and labor to install it, BUT there are always many other things that "need" to be done at the same time.

Typically, O2 sensor, motor mounts, many hoses, clutch, flywheel, various lines, it all adds up and its fine as long as you are prepared and budget for it.

Anyway, I think that $6,000 is more like what you are looking at to get it going, not $3,000.

Yeah more like 5-6k would be my estimate. But you might be able to talk him down from $7500.00. It's worth a shot.

I saw that add a few days ago and I was kinda scared away from it because A) anybody that likes the veilside kit doesn't know **** about FD's :P and B) it looks like it was in a crash cause look at how bad the bumper and hood fitment are. I'd say somebody crashed it, sold it this guy bought it started to work on it and ran out of money.

Just my 02 cents.
Nick
(P.S. did anybody see the 94' with 65k miles for 14,000? I bet it's already sold but what a deal.)
