I didn't get my FD to sound pretty, but I picked up my car yesterday after having had a MP, single turbo, etc. installed and my GOD!! It sounds like *** (I'm used to hearing the exhaust note of flat fours and flat sixes). I'm also not sure if we can pass the 95dB rule at the autoX (the property owners/patrons are bitching already).

Any suggestions?

 

are you running an open wastegate ? if you are when you get on boost it will sound NASTY! but some people like that. you can have it plumbed back into the downpipe and it will reduce the noise alot. what catback are you running? if you want a quieter catback try the racingbeat dual tip.....
