For Those who Own Apexi AVC-R..
I have just finished the installatioin on my TuboII and I came up with some questions..
On the installation manual it says .."Never start the engine or turn the ignition key ON/OFF while the AVC-R is in use"
Does this mean that the *AVC-R* has On/Off Switch?? I couldn't find anything on the manual about how to turn it On/Off manually. Mine just illuminates when I turn the key ON and Turns off when I turn the key OFF..
I am just a bit confused about their instructions.. : (

HOW do you turn your AVC-R ON/OFF ( I mean the whole unit )??

it probally means while your drive and building boost don't turn it on or off but it should be ok if your at a dead stop at idle

but that is just a guess

 

Ok.. But is there a on/off switch button or sequence of pressing certain buttons to turn the unit on/off??

i dont know in a 2nd gen but for me, in the main screen with the Monitor, Settings, and Etc menu. Set your settings to [OFF] this will disable the AVC-r but not turn it off, yor stock pills will go into affect cuase the AVCr will no longer control anything

There is no power switch to turn it on/off. I think the warning refers to while it's in use(under boost).
