for those who have PNP hid kits's
I just did a test on how hot my retrofit would get with the cheap kits such as ebay,DDM,etc. I ran my light's for an hour and took the OUTSIDE temp of my housing and it reached 222f i decided to shut them off for fear of my projector becoming burnt and melting of my shrouds. I couldn't record my inside temps of the projector bowl becuse it was so hot.
Normal temps should be around 150-200 for INSIDE of the projector it's probably safe to say mine were close to 300f.
The only bulbs i would recommend would be oem or morimoto.

Anyone who thinks of putting in an HID retro fit without actual HID projector housings should look at this:

It is a known fact that cheap retrofit HID kits blind oncoming traffic and decrease the driver's visibility.
