you should put this in the classified section with "Testing Waters" as part of the title.

For me, I'd pay $14k for it

If you have all the receipts, you have a better shot at selling the car as is for your asking price.

If that was mine, i wouldnt take less than 20k.

Otherwise i would part the aftermarket parts out, put the stock parts back in and sell.

That is a 20k fd. It may take some time but people are starting to buy again. I would list it at $19,990.00 if it were me and not take less than $19k.

keep it if you can, this is the worst time to sell, it is going to be hard to get that much for it, sucks.

That's a very solid setup. You'll be disappointed to see it go and even more disappointed when someone lowballs you with 14k . Take no less than 19k but start it off at 20k as stated. Was that 480 on pump?

If the trans is good, the bushings have been replaced and the compression is good etc... I'd think the right buyer would pay 18k. IMO 20k is a stretch because very few people are buying toys at this time and things will get worse before they get better so you're looking at a 1 to 2 year soft market. This is the best car buyers market of the century so with that in mind take 20k and go shopping and you'll be amazed at the deals you can find which will make taking a loss on your car much easier to stomach.

If you have the time I'd recommend converting it to stock to make it a more attractive/practical car for an easier sale while recouping some of your investement in the mods.

Best of luck

mileage on the chassis was WRONG its 70,9xx the trans is perfect no grinds in any gear
the engine was built in 06 or 07 has around 5k on it (never drive it) the methanol injection was added this summer and Ray Wilson checked and tuned the car on 09/08 the 480 whp was pump and meth injection @ 18psi

Even a small dog has four legs.

(Like the two posts above, supplies no useful information.)

yeah but 93rx7 is exactly right. There is no telling what the car is worth. It is worth what someone is willing to pay.. And as mentioned, now is time when most people aren't shopping.

If I were the seller, I'd convert back to as close to stock if possible. You'll get lots more money out of it that way. You'll also have an easier time selling a cherry (but stockish) rx7.

I would part out the after market parts then sell the car in its stock condition. Telling people what you got in the car as is won't amuse buyers other then the fact that it was beat on (even if you didn't). Parting out the parts will add up to 20k in the end.

If you have all the stock parts, you can make an absolute killing if you part some aftermarket parts out and sell the car closer to stock.

Example, interior pieces, gauges, front bumper, hood etc etc.

Say you put the ^^^above pieces back, someone would still pay up to 18k IMHO and if you sell those aftermarket parts?

You'll end up with 21-23k total.

above would give you the best bang for buck. but it takes time swaping and selling items that car is sweet and is worth no less than 19k
