think i chipped a seal.

my car idles really bad and almost barely wnats to run but once i get going over 1500 rpm the car runs perfectly fine it seems. smooth exhaust tone i havent gotte into boost because i dont want to completely kill the motor but i also drove it around 400 miles or so back from sping break and the car made it just fine with the same gas milage as on the way down with a healthy idle. i changed the plugs but that didnt help. could it be something else besides a chipped seal. oh it does smoke now too but thats only at idle as well.

Compression check is the way to go, then you wont have to wonder what it is.

Boost Sensor = MAP Sensor

Nothing like two names for the same part.

trying adjusting the air flow screw. its located underneath the throttle elbow. if you loosen it a little bit, more air will go into the manifold, and your idle should go up. what rpm does your car idle at right now?
